As many of you may know, aside from working at and then owning Hunter Valley Adventures, I have also had a career in education where my roles have included teacher, guidance counsellor, and assistant principal. In addition, I am a certified Life Coach who has taken training in mindfulness, solution focused approaches, building resiliency through attachment, creating working alliances, and positive psychology. I have completed my Level 2 training in Reiki and am a recreational explorer of the arts. While rafting, these elements of myself have always been intertwined in everything I do out at Hunter Valley Adventures and how we design our space - working in relationship with the natural environment around us to create a welcoming environment.
